Voltaren Gel It is indicated for the local treatment of painful and inflammatory states of rheumatic or traumatic nature that affect:
- joints (such as osteoarthritis and arthritis);
- muscles (contractures or injuries);
- tendons and ligaments (tendinitis).
The ointment contains the active ingredient diclofenac dietilamonio that belongs to the class of non -steroidal anti -inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and is used to reduce pain and inflammation.
If after 7 days from the use you feel worse or the symptoms have not passed, consult the doctor. Often in this period it happens to have back pain from smart working but often passes without the use of medicines.
Do not use the medicine self:
- You are allergic to diclofenac dietilamonio or any of the other components of the medicine;
- In the past there have been attacks of asthma, urticaria or acute forms of inflammation of the nose (rhinitis) after the intake of acetylsalicylic acid or other non -steroidal anti -inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs);
- It is in the third trimester of pregnancy.
Do not use Voltaren Gel for children under 14 years old.
Do not apply the ointment on injured skin, sick or with open wounds; Avoid ingesting it or bringing it into contact with eyes or mucous membranes like mouth or vagina. After using it, do not cover the part with plastic wrap that does not pass the air.
Use the Voltaren Gel as prescribed in the illustrative leaflet or by consulting the doctor or pharmacist. Then, apply the gel 3 or 4 times a day on the area to be treated with a slight clutch.
If some eruption is manifested on the skin, stop treatment.
The quantity of medicine to be used depends on the extension of the area to be treated (variable quantity between a cherry and a walnut); However, use the medicine for a short period of time.
Apply the gel with your hands or using a sterile cotton gauze; After treatment, wash your hands thoroughly to avoid accidental contact with some mucosa.
